Meet Your Doctor: Robert Flanders, O.D. for Today’s Vision Rice Village
Dr. Flanders earned his Bachelor of Arts in 1971 from State University of New York in Fredonia, NY, earned his Masters of Science in 1979 at the University of Texas at Dallas in Dallas, TX and was then awarded his Doctorate of Optometry (O.D.) Degree in 1987 from the University of Houston, College of Optometry in Houston, TX.

After changing careers from environmental science to optometry, Dr. Flanders began his training at St. Joseph’s Hospital where he assisted in the Early Treatment of Diabetes Study and co-authored an article in Texas Optometry magazine. This optometric glaucoma specialist holds many memberships to local associations; American and Texas Optometric Associations, Harris County Optometry Society Board, and Board Member of the Laser Eye Institute of Houston.
