NOTE FROM THE DOCTOR -Dr. Mendiola received her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry and her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Trinity University in San Antonio. She received additional externship training at Omni Eye Associates in Baltimore, Maryland, and at Brooks Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio. Dr. Mendiola is a therapeutic optometrist licensed to diagnose and treat ocular disease, as well as a certified optometric glaucoma specialist. She is a member of the Texas Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.
