Sinusitis

Sinusitis is an inflammation of the mucous membranes of the sinuses. It may be caused by a bacterial or viral infection. Sinusitis usually occurs after a common cold or acute allergy attack. If the frontal sinuses are affected, you may have a headache over one or both eyes. The surface of your forehead just above the eyes may feel tender.
